Dan Safier is the President, CEO, and Co-CIO of Prado Group. Dan is responsible for the firm’s overall investment and development operations. Throughout his 30+ years in the business, Dan has invested and developed residential, retail, office, and mixed-use properties throughout the Western US. His passion is creating great walkable, urban mixed-use environments.
Dan is a member of the Urban Development Mixed-Use Council (UDMUC) of the Urban Land Institute, ICSC, and Lambda Alpha International. He is the former Chairman of the Board and Board Member of the Jim Joseph Foundation, where he chairs the Real Estate Committee, a former Director of SPUR, a Member of the UC Berkeley Fisher Center Policy Advisory Board, a Trustee of the Schultz Family Foundation, and a Founding Member of UC Berkeley’s Terner Center for Housing Innovation. Dan received his B.A. from UC Berkeley and his JD from UC Hastings College of Law.
Craig is a Co-Founder of the Prado Group. At Prado, Craig has been involved in the acquisition of over 80 investment properties. During his nearly 30 years in real estate, Craig has focused on identifying acquisitions and asset repositioning, as well as asset and property management of multifamily, mixed-use, and retail properties. Craig’s primary focus at Prado Group is on sourcing acquisitions opportunities. Craig is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in California and is a Board Member of the National Multifamily Housing Council as well as the Francisco Park Conservancy. Craig received his BA from UC Berkeley.
Cindy is focused on driving Prado’s business strategy, marketing, branding, and property operations and performance. Cindy is engaged in Prado’s investments from acquisition through the value-add process and into stabilized operations and ultimate sale or recapitalization. Prior to joining Prado Group in 2014, Cindy was Vice President and ran Marketing at Prometheus Real Estate Group, Inc. for 13 years, where she was responsible for corporate branding and the marketing program for the entire residential portfolio. Cindy is a member of the Urban Development Mixed-Use Council (UDMUC) of the Urban Land Institute and a member of SPUR. In addition, she is an Alumna, Harvard Business School Executive Education, PLDA and an Emeritus Executive Vice President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board. She is also a Member of the University of California Berkeley Extension Advisory Board. Cindy received her BS from UC Berkeley.
Zach is Head of Acquisitions, Co-CIO, and a member of the Executive Team at Prado Group, where he oversees all investment and acquisition activity at Prado. In this role, Zach is responsible for managing the team that sources, underwrites, structures, and executes acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and recapitalizations at Prado Group. He also works closely with the leadership of the asset management, retail, and office teams.
Prior to joining Prado Group in 2010, Zach worked at Lehman Brothers and Marcus & Millichap in New York where he won awards including #1 Broker. Zach is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). He received his B.A. with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dan brings more than two decades of experience in real estate finance, portfolio management, and private equity fund operations. Prior to joining Prado Group, he was Vice President at Swift Real Estate Partners, where he oversaw portfolio management and financial operations for two private equity real estate funds totaling approximately $1.5 billion in assets under management. Previously, he served as Director of Portfolio Management at Prologis (AMB), directing three U.S.-based industrial real estate funds totaling approximately 11.8 million square feet with an aggregate fair value of roughly $900 million. He began his real estate career underwriting multifamily and master-planned community developments at Lennar Urban.
Dan began his professional career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers, advising real estate clients on audit and financial matters. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of San Francisco.
Prior to joining Prado, Colin spent nearly a decade at Vanbarton Group, where he was effectively managed their West Coast division. His responsibilities included overseeing acquisition, asset management, and construction management for a significant office and multifamily portfolio spanning multiple cities. Notably, Colin played a central role in establishing and developing the Vanbarton Group's West Coast office, significantly contributing to its expansion and prominence in the region.
Colin received a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University and MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
Prior to joining the Prado team, Jennifer served as acting general counsel for Related’s 240-acre mega-development in Santa Clara, Calif., where she was responsible for all legal aspects of the project. She began her career at Morrison & Forester LLP, where she helped clients (including Prado) purchase, finance, diligence, develop, lease, manage, and sell commercial real estate of all sizes and asset types.
Jennifer received her BA from UC Berkeley and her JD from USC.
Prior to joining Prado, Stephanie was Co-Head of Multifamily Asset Management-West at BGO (BentallGreenOak), where she managed a $3 billion portfolio of multifamily assets across the Western United States. Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade at Carmel Partners, where she oversaw a diverse portfolio of conventional multifamily and student housing properties throughout the West Coast. A Bay Area native, Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and currently resides in Marin with her family.

Joe also works closely with Prado’s capital partners to secure funding for ground-up developments, acquisitions, and recapitalizations. Prior to joining Prado Group, he worked at New York Life Real Estate Investors as an Acquisition Officer. Before then, he worked at PGIM Real Estate. Joe received his BS of Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a CFA Charterholder.
Nick evaluates multifamily, retail, and office opportunities across various strategies as well as assists in the execution of business plans across Prado’s current investments. Prior to joining Prado Group, Nick worked in the Capital Markets division at JLL focusing on debt and equity advisory, where he underwrote and sourced capital for multifamily assets across the country. His previous work experience includes roles with Ross Stores’ Strategy team. Nick holds a B.S. in Business Economics and Data Analytics from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.
Lisa focuses on residential and mixed-use development and renovation projects. At Prado, Lisa has managed numerous complex entitlements in addition to value-add renovations and repositioning. Prior to joining Prado Group, Lisa was a disposition associate in the Transactions Group at AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis), where she supervised nearly a billion dollars in dispositions. Before AMB, Lisa was an analyst in the Acquisitions Group at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, where she was responsible for real estate valuation, underwriting, and due diligence for approximately $500 million in acquisitions. Lisa is a member of the ULI, SPUR and UC Berkeley Real Estate Club. She received her BS in political science from UC Berkeley and her Masters from UC Berkeley in City and Regional Planning with a concentration in Community Development.
Allie is responsible for managing Prado Group’s development and redevelopment strategy across multiple ground-up and major renovation projects and project types. She works cross-functionally to execute development and construction management as well as project financing and overall capitalization strategy.
Prior to joining Prado, Allie was a Director at Hines where she oversaw all aspects of the execution of Transbay Block 4, a 680-unit, $1B mixed-income high-rise residential project in SoMa that included 45% on-site affordable. Before Hines, she was a project manager at BRIDGE Housing Corporation in San Francisco where she completed four affordable housing projects totaling over 360 units throughout the Bay Area. Her experience spans a variety of product types including affordable housing, mixed-income, high-rise, rental, condominium, ground-up development, large-scale rehabilitation, and modular construction projects.
Allie is a member of the Urban Revitalization Council (URC) of the Urban Land Institute and is the current President of the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA). Allie received her BA in American Studies from Trinity College in Connecticut and her Master of City Planning from UC Berkeley with a focus on real estate development.

Prior to joining Prado, Brittany held roles across capital markets, banking, and executive support at BNY Mellon, J.P. Morgan, and First Republic Bank, where she worked alongside senior executives, investors, and clients on strategic initiatives, business development, and organizational strategy and execution.
Brittany holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Loyola Marymount University and completed the Entrepreneurial Finance program at the Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. She is a member of the San Francisco Ballet’s Young Patrons Circle and previously served as Co-President.
