Dan Safier

President, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Chief Investment Officer

Dan Safier is the President, CEO, and Co-CIO of Prado Group. Dan is responsible for the firm’s overall investment and development operations. Throughout his 30+ years in the business, Dan has invested and developed residential, retail, office, and mixed-use properties throughout the Western US. His passion is creating great walkable, urban mixed-use environments.

Dan is a member of the Urban Development Mixed-Use Council (UDMUC) of the Urban Land Institute, ICSC, and Lambda Alpha International. He is the former Chairman of the Board and Board Member of the Jim Joseph Foundation, where he chairs the Real Estate Committee, a former Director of SPUR, a Member of the UC Berkeley Fisher Center Policy Advisory Board, a Trustee of the Schultz Family Foundation, and a Founding Member of UC Berkeley’s Terner Center for Housing Innovation. Dan received his B.A. from UC Berkeley and his JD from UC Hastings College of Law.

Craig Greenwood

Principal and Co-Founder

Craig is a Co-Founder of the Prado Group. At Prado, Craig has been involved in the acquisition of over 80 investment properties. During his nearly 30 years in real estate, Craig has focused on identifying acquisitions and asset repositioning, as well as asset and property management of multifamily, mixed-use, and retail properties. Craig’s primary focus at Prado Group is on sourcing acquisitions opportunities. Craig is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in California and is a Board Member of the National Multifamily Housing Council as well as the Francisco Park Conservancy. Craig received his BA from UC Berkeley.

Cindy Park

Chief Operating Officer

Cindy is focused on driving Prado’s business strategy, marketing, branding, and property operations and performance. Cindy is engaged in Prado’s investments from acquisition through the value-add process and into stabilized operations and ultimate sale or recapitalization. Prior to joining Prado Group in 2014, Cindy was Vice President and ran Marketing at Prometheus Real Estate Group, Inc. for 13 years, where she was responsible for corporate branding and the marketing program for the entire residential portfolio. Cindy is a member of the Urban Development Mixed-Use Council (UDMUC) of the Urban Land Institute and a member of SPUR. In addition, she is an Alumna, Harvard Business School Executive Education, PLDA and an Emeritus Executive Vice President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board. She is also a Member of the University of California Berkeley Extension Advisory Board. Cindy received her BS from UC Berkeley.

Zach Felson

Co-Chief Investment Officer

Zach is Head of Acquisitions, Co-CIO, and a member of the Executive Team at Prado Group, where he oversees all investment and acquisition activity at Prado. In this role, Zach is responsible for managing the team that sources, underwrites, structures, and executes acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and recapitalizations at Prado Group. He also works closely with the leadership of the asset management, retail, and office teams.

Prior to joining Prado Group in 2010, Zach worked at Lehman Brothers and Marcus & Millichap in New York where he won awards including #1 Broker. Zach is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). He received his B.A. with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Lori Waltzer

Chief Financial Officer

Lori joins Prado with a vision for growth and a dedication to Prado’s investors. With over 20 years of experience in real estate finance, her deep knowledge and demonstrable leadership ensures Prado’s continued best-in-class performance enhancing the built environment and driving superior investment value. At Prado, she will lead with her finance expertise in business planning, real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management. Before joining Prado Group in 2021, Lori was the Chief Financial Officer at Signature Development Group and Pacific Union Land Company, where she worked for 16 years. Lori received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her MBA from Columbia University.

Colin Shinners

Senior Vice President of Asset Management

Colin leads Prado Group's asset management team and collaborates closely with Prado’s senior leadership team to develop and implement asset strategies that drive performance of Prado's investments. He brings with him a wealth of experience in growing real estate portfolios, executing strategic business plans, and delivering exceptional investment performance. Prior to joining Prado, Colin spent nearly a decade at Vanbarton Group, where he was effectively managed their West Coast division. His responsibilities included overseeing acquisition, asset management, and construction management for a significant office and multifamily portfolio spanning multiple cities. Notably, Colin played a central role in establishing and developing the Vanbarton Group's West Coast office, significantly contributing to its expansion and prominence in the region. Colin received a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University and MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Don Bragg

Head of Development / Senior Vice President

Don leads Prado Group’s development activity. Since joining the team in 2009, he has helped the company develop numerous award-winning ground up projects and thousands of value-add residential units and mixed-use projects in all construction types, including wood frame, concrete, and steel. Don has experience in design, entitlement, and construction management. Prior to joining Prado Group, he was Vice President of Development for both The Irvine Company Apartment Communities (IAC) and Prometheus Real Estate Group. Don is a Licensed Architect in California, a member of SPUR, SFHAC and ULI. He received his BA in Architecture from UC Berkeley.

Bill Goldman

Senior Vice President

Bill plays a critical role in the asset management, operations, and growth of Prado Group’s rent stabilized portfolio. Bill brings 17 years of real estate and finance experience including asset management, acquisitions, debt origination and investment banking. Most recently, Bill served as the Principal and CFO at Ballast Investments. Prior to that he worked at Morgan Stanley, Starwood Capital Group, and Blackrock. Bill received his BS in Business Administration and MBA at UC Berkeley, where he graduated with honors and is a licensed CPA.

Joe Hamwey

Director of Acquisitions

Joe sources, evaluates, and executes on acquisitions across various product types and strategies. Joe also works closely with Prado’s capital partners to secure funding for ground-up developments, acquisitions, and recapitalizations. Prior to joining Prado Group, he worked at New York Life Real Estate Investors as an Acquisition Officer. Before then, he worked at PGIM Real Estate. Joe received his BS of Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a CFA Charterholder.

Sasha Moridi

Acquisitions Associate

Sasha focuses on evaluating multifamily, retail, and office opportunities as well as sourcing investments to expand Prado Group’s acquisition pipeline. Prior to joining Prado Group, Sasha worked in the Capital Markets division at JLL where he focused on the sell-side advisory and underwriting of office, life science, industrial, and R&D assets across the Bay Area. His previous work experience includes roles at Bridge Investment Group as well as Golden Gate Ventures. Sasha holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Nick Rango

Acquisitions Analyst

Nick evaluates multifamily, retail, and office opportunities across various strategies as well as assists in the execution of business plans across Prado’s current investments. Prior to joining Prado Group, Nick worked in the Capital Markets division at JLL focusing on debt and equity advisory, where he underwrote and sourced capital for multifamily assets across the country. His previous work experience includes roles with Ross Stores’ Strategy team. Nick holds a B.S. in Business Economics and Data Analytics from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.

Micaela Scarpulla

Office of the CEO

Micaela provides executive support to Prado’s CEO and partners across all departments on cross-functional projects and initiatives. Micaela brings with her over 10 years of experience supporting CEOs and Boards of Directors as a strategic partner, and most recently heading Investor Relations and M&A for a global tech firm. In her roles supporting CEOs, Micaela leverages her Corporate Athlete training from the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute to improve productivity and efficiency across the entire organization. Micaela holds a BS in Business Administration and Finance, a MS in Nutritional Science and Dietetics, and completed her Dietetic Fellowship at UCSF. She is certified by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) as a Company Secretary.

Lisa Congdon

Director of Development

Lisa focuses on residential and mixed-use development and renovation projects. At Prado, Lisa has managed numerous complex entitlements in addition to value-add renovations and repositioning. Prior to joining Prado Group, Lisa was a disposition associate in the Transactions Group at AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis), where she supervised nearly a billion dollars in dispositions. Before AMB, Lisa was an analyst in the Acquisitions Group at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, where she was responsible for real estate valuation, underwriting, and due diligence for approximately $500 million in acquisitions. Lisa is a member of the ULI, SPUR and UC Berkeley Real Estate Club. She received her BS in political science from UC Berkeley and her Masters from UC Berkeley in City and Regional Planning with a concentration in Community Development.

Allie Stein

Director of Development and Special Projects

Allie is responsible for managing Prado Group’s development and redevelopment strategy across multiple ground-up and major renovation projects and project types. She works cross-functionally to execute development and construction management as well as project financing and overall capitalization strategy. Prior to joining Prado, Allie was a Director at Hines where she oversaw all aspects of the execution of Transbay Block 4, a 680-unit, $1B mixed-income high-rise residential project in SoMa that included 45% on-site affordable. Before Hines, she was a project manager at BRIDGE Housing Corporation in San Francisco where she completed four affordable housing projects totaling over 360 units throughout the Bay Area. Her experience spans a variety of product types including affordable housing, mixed-income, high-rise, rental, condominium, ground-up development, large-scale rehabilitation, and modular construction projects. Allie is a member of the Urban Revitalization Council (URC) of the Urban Land Institute and is the current President of the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA). Allie received her BA in American Studies from Trinity College in Connecticut and her Master of City Planning from UC Berkeley with a focus on real estate development.

Casey Hession

Development and Operations Associate

Casey is responsible for business strategy implementation and supporting the development, acquisitions, asset management teams on Prado’s portfolio of multifamily, retail, and mixed-use investments. Previously, Casey was a Senior Associate at the Urban Land Institute San Francisco, where she managed multiple committees and initiatives focused on housing policy and finance, sustainability, and young leader professional development, as well as led all marketing and communications for the organization. Casey is a ULI Chamberlin Fellow and a member of the Multifamily Product Council of Urban Land Institute. Casey holds a Masters in Real Estate Development and Design (MRED+D) from UC Berkeley and a BA in Environmental Studies and Business Communications from UC Santa Barbara.

Jackie Bell

Vice President of Asset Management

Jackie brings with her over 20 years of multifamily operational experience including development, lease-up, renovation, repositioning, and stabilized. Prior to joining Prado, Jackie oversaw Multifamily Operations for the Central and West U.S. regions at AIG with a portfolio of 26 assets totaling 4,500 units. Prior to AIG she was a Regional Manager with Greystar where she oversaw wholly owned and third-party managed assets in both the Austin and San Antonio, TX regions. Jackie received her BA from The University of Texas at San Antonio and holds the CAM and CAPS designation with the National Apartment Association.

Walter Chui

Vice President of Asset Management

Walter Chui is a Vice President of Asset Management at Prado Group. Walter is responsible for the development and execution of business plans for Prado Group’s investments, which range from stabilized operating assets to major repositionings and redevelopments. Prior to joining Prado Group in 2022, Walter was an asset manager at UBS Realty Investors where he was responsible for a portfolio of both wholly-owned and joint venture properties across the primary commercial property types. During his tenure, he also assisted on certain acquisitions and also ran dispositions and refinancings of properties in his portfolio. Prior to UBS, Walter was an analyst at HFF (now JLL) and worked on debt originations. Walter is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and ICSC. He received his MBA and Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego as well as a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the University of California at San Diego.

Chris Arata

Development Manager

Chris Arata brings solid preconstruction and construction experience on renovation and ground-up construction projects including document control and construction administration. Prior to joining The Prado Group, Chris founded a construction management consultancy and previously worked for several general contractors throughout the Bay Area across product sectors, including multi-family, commercial, hospitality, institutional, educational, and landmark.

Jimmy Xie

Development Associate/Contract Coordinator

Jimmy is responsible for contract administration management as well as development project support. Prior to joining Prado Group, Jimmy comes from the subcontractor world working as a project coordinator for the Meiswinkel family a plaster and sheetrock contractor in the SF Bay Area. Jimmy previously worked as a financial analyst for UCSF and has a Business Administration/Finance degree from San Francisco State University. Fun fact: Jimmy was born in the San Francisco Chinese Hospital the same birthplace of his childhood idol Bruce Lee.

Inggar Attenhofer

Vice President of Accounting

Inggar oversees financial operations including audit, tax planning, financial reporting compliance as well as establishing internal control over accounting and financial procedures. Prior to joining Prado Group, she was a Controller at Sares Regis Group of Northern California for 6 years. Inggar graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University of Chico and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Brad Cecil

Assistant Controller

As the Assistant Controller, Brad leads and manages the accounting department at Prado Group. Brad studied finance at California State University, Chico and after receiving his BS in Business Administration he quickly found a home in property accounting. Brad has worked in real estate since 2011, and has built a portfolio managing affordable housing, multi family units, and multi million dollar retail and data center sites in the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside of work, Brad enjoys traveling and spending time on the water with his family.

Tee Nguyen

Senior Accountant

Tee is a Senior Accountant with a specialty in real estate development accounting at Prado Group. With 8 years of accounting experience, including 6 years dedicated to real estate accounting, he brings valuable expertise to our team. As a detail-oriented professional, he excels in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance within the dynamic real estate industry. Tee's commitment to excellence and his proficiency in managing complex financial matters make him a vital asset in driving success for our real estate projects. Tee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Sioe Oey

Senior AP Specialist

Sioe is a Senior AP Specialist at Prado Group. She is responsible for all accounts payable and accounts receivable for Prado Group investments. Prior to joining Prado Group in 2019, she was an AP Specialist at the Gateway Apartments for thirteen years. Sioe enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Sara Jiang

Property Accountant

Sara is the property accountant at Prado Group. She is responsible for all the financial reporting for the assigned properties. Sara has worked as accountant in the real estate industry for six years with experiences in affordable housing and multifamily properties in the Bay Area. Sara graduated from California State University, East Bay with a Major in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting.

Adrian Ruiz

Property Accountant

Adrian Ruiz is a Property Accountant at Prado Group. Prior to joining Prado group, Adrian was a Property Accountant for Reliant Property Management where he had a portfolio of affordable and market rate multifamily housing in multiple states. Adrian graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Sonoma State University.

Victoria Lacy

Executive Assistant

Victoria is responsible for providing executive support to Prado’s CFO, SVP of Development, and their teams in managing day to day workflow and projects. Prior to joining Prado, Victoria has supported CEOs in both the renewable energy and health care spaces. Moving into the real estate industry allowed her to follow her passion, where community and the environment are at the forefront of the company’s mission. Victoria graduated Cum Laude from San Jose State University with a BA in Psychology. She has a deep passion for people and the world around us and has spent many years as a volunteer, outdoor adventure leader, and now enjoys taking her dog out to explore with her.

Andrea Hayes

Front Desk Office Manager

Andrea implements the onboarding process and cultivates positive relationships with staff, IT and The Prado Group’s property management companies. She manages Prado’s employee appreciation program, is the administrator for all software applications, and maintains website domains and negotiates various vendor contracts. Prior to joining Prado Group, Andrea retired from PwC, where she worked as an Executive Assistant and Project Team Specialist.
